After hearing most of my friends talk about this show I finally watched the first season of Breaking Bad. If you haven't heard of this show it's about a school teacher who finds out he has lung cancer and will not live much longer. This gets him thinking about how he wants to leave live his pregnant wife, soon to be born daughter, and son setup with some money. Which I think most of us think about and would like to be able to do. However he decides the best way to do this is to start cooking Meth, since he is a Chemistry teacher he does now how.
I might would of given up on this series after the first couple of episodes if it wasn't for my friends pushing me to continue. I'm not saying that they weren't interesting but it didn't hook me at first. After finishing the season thought I'm hooked. Most of the first season was like watching a train wreck, you want to look away but you can't. The decisions he makes and the trouble he gets into because of hiding things is interesting to watch. To make things even more interesting in the story his brother in law is a cop and his job is going after drug dealers.
The series is on Netflix streaming so I would recommend checking it out. I will say this there are some disturbing things that you see you if you are easily bothered or upset I might would stay away from this one. The show comes on AMC so there is some cursing but they don't get carried away with it. Overall I liked the first season and since the next two seasons are also on Netflix I will be checking those out as well.
