Evernote

One of my favorite programs to use now is Evernote. Evernote is note taking software that puts your notes in the cloud so you can access them or edit them from your computer, iPhone, iPad or Android phone. The way Evernote works is it allows you to make a note and assign it to a notebook. In my case I have a notebook for every class that I have, a personal one, a Fellowship of Gamers notebook, and a Jaguars Podcast notebook.

For this podcast and website I take notes on any article ideas I might have or things I want to talk to on the podcast and put them in my notebook. The nice thing is I can do it in line if something pops in my head because I have my phone with me or sitting at my desktop. If I put them on my phone as soon as I go to my computer the note I put on my phone is now on my computer.

You can also tag notes and search through notes if you are looking for something special. You can even put pictures in your notes and search the picture for words. Let's say you took a picture of a board with notes on it from school then later you could use the search feature to search through all of your notes and it would search that picture for the topic as well.

For those of you not in school you can also make to do list with it. This app is free and I think it's a must have for anyone. This is one of those apps that I use almost everyday and don't know what I would do without it.
